The Great Western Railway (London) Golfing Society was formed in 1937.
Current members are mainly working and retired railwaymen,
but non-railwaymen are welcome to join as associate members.
We play golf courses located within the geographical area of the former Western Region of British Rail,
but within comfortable travelling distance of London and Bristol.
Our annual programme comprises Society Golf Days,
a Spring or Summer Break, matches against other railway golfing societies
and an annual dinner, preceded, of course, by a round of golf.
We run a match play competition during the summer months for the Society Championship.
