Alan Galley OBE B: 1945 D: 2026
Alan was a popular member of our Society and our Captain in 2010.
He was one of our staunchest supporters and a good friend of our President, Alec Bath.
Alan died peacefully in his sleep after a long illness, aged 81.
Alan's funeral was on the 19 August at Mortlake Crematorium, Kew Meadows Path, Townmead Rd, Richmond TW9 4EN
and afterwards at The Alexander Pope Hotel, Cross Deep, Twickenham TW1 4RB.

After a long Railway Career and when Chief Executive of Freightliners, Alan was awarded an OBE in the Queen's birthday honours list for June 2003 for 'Services to the Railway Industry'.
