Ken Beresford was a great supporter of the GWR Golfing Society (London).

He was elected Vice President in 2004 and became President at the end of 2009
when Rodney Taylor stood down due to ill health.

Ken was subsequently elected to be a Life Member in 2011.

We think that Ken’s last golfing appearance for the Society was in the Wally Richards Cup at Magnolia Park GC on 26 October 2018. Sadly Ken had picked up knee and hip injuries during 2018 and he handed over the Presidency to Alec Bath in 2019.

Ken passed away in 2026.
